I still believe in Karma. What goes around, comes around. I'm sure something is gonna bite him in the ass 1 day.
@Sam Harris I finally got the new motor cold start vid :D

Sounds killer!

Plugs looked surprisingly good! I like copper NGK TR55s gapped to .040 never had an issue with them and cheap.

I forgot to mention--I hooked up the tech 2 looking for any misfires--got 0 misfires, even with the messed up plugs.
After driving or just idling? Are you sure you’re in the right year and engine, because I get a few every time. Long term it runs to 100 cycles and then resets iirc and there’s always a few before it resets.

Idling. I go in as an 05 Escalade for the motor, since it's a 6.0. It wasn't an option on the Tahoe.

Your problem seems to be under load so leave it hooked up, go for a drive, pull over and look.
I have to do that.
All plugs swapped out. What a PITA that was!
@Rocket Man that was a good tip for #8--worked like a charm.20201230_140944.jpg
All the old plugs. ONLY #7 was different. 20201230_152930.jpg 20201230_153209.jpg
I had to gap a couple of the new plugs, they were around .038--but a few in 1 set of 4--the electrodes weren't centered, so watch out for that.

WTF, was the new plugs not included with this neused engine. I mean at least some new crappy ones.
