last time i set up that layout i forgot to save it right and it lost injector duty. i have like 3 lay outs being timing files change and such from car to car. the ss camaro files dont match the tahoe, and the 3800 i had read things 100% the other way like columns and row axis were the opposite of any ls set up.

i tell ya setting up the scanner to read stuff right is the hardest part of hpt to me. it just such a pita, but well worth the effort when your done.

I agree 100% about the scanner being a PITA! I wasn't sure if maybe the truck wasn't seeing some part of the injector data or something. Good to know PE is working but I was hopeful that was it. :(

that pe setting blows tho. should be more 30-40% tp that way it gets all the fuel and it just eats. changing that file alone helps out a stock engine. its one of them small things you can actually feel some. its not like a you gained 100 hp, but you can feel it.

Well now that we know PE is working Tony just needs to do more test runs.

So is it running good now or do you still have issues? And the trans? Did you have to add fluid? Is it working good too?
Well....I probably put around 40 miles on it today and it actually ran pretty damn good. I didn't hear or feel anything weird. Trans shifted great. I didn't check the fluid today, I actually forgot, but the day of the incident it was good on the stick, and it took around 7 qts. I've probably had this trans going on 4 yrs now and I've YET to change the filter or fluid! I keep losing the damn fluid so it's constantly getting refreshed. Still shifting great tho.
