I grew up calling it Taylor ham--I'm from Essex county--going south it's pork roll.

oh we all know its taylor ham. the pork roll people are silly. just cause some knock off started calling it pork roll dont mean its the same thing either. this battle is like 60 years old too lol really sad that most of the country has no idea wtf we are talking about too lol

Lol, tell me about it! I used to live in the Poconos years ago and I ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese--I take a bite and it's Virginia ham! WTH?? The guy I ordered it from was from NY too! Idk Scotty--they have no clue.

That sux that he lost 2--and the same type of accident too. I would've kept the 1st one--he should've just bought it back from the ins company. He most likely would've gotten a salvage title, but that wouldn't have been a big deal. Damn shame. That cat must've been really clogged to make it run that bad. Sometimes I wish I would've kept mine. It had the rack delete with the rear window spoiler and rear wiper. I kept all the carpeted mats that says "Typhoon", and the factory radio--no longer have that tho.

I actually had a friend of mine, who was a car dealer, take me to the insurance auction so I could buy it back because the insurance company refused to sell it back to him. They said it was their policy that it had to go up for auction.

Anyway, I didn't have a ton of money at the time but I figured since not many people know what the heck it is to start with that maybe I might get lucky... no dice... the bid started out at $5k right off the bat from an internet bidder, I just couldn't afford it at the time.

Oh well, such is life, I will have one some day, it is just a matter of time. When the time is right it will happen.

I'm hearing you guys on quality Ham.
Some companies over here produce crap ham in tons. No pride,just !tihs for the masses!

I on the other hand would ruin you for ham if you were try some of my Sweet Smokey Treats!

Some of the best ham you could gorge yourself on!

Hot whiskey glazed ham 3 hours on the bbq xmas day. Mmmmmmm cant wait to get me some of that!!![emoji318]

Their prices are all over the place. I've seen them anywhere from $5500 all the way to 30k. There's actually one on my lical cl for sale--along with T type--same guy.

This is what I did with a Ribeye recently

How about Ham,Cheese & Tomato Sandwiches? Just stepped outside to pick some that I grew this season.

Soup a plenty this winter!
