$10 a gallon?? I bet there's alot of gas being stolen from cars. That happened alot back in the 70's during our gas shortage. In my area, average price if regular unleaded is $3.15 a gallon. I paid $3.64 a gallon for super.

Yes $2.39 per liter so that is getting up around 10 a gallon. Had been as high as $2.50

1 liter mate. Is usually about $64.00
Not afraid to spend $100 on a really nice 109 proof like Eagle rare or anything 100+ proof as a treat.
Everthing has to travel a fair distance to get here.
I spent an hour fixing a mountain bike for one of my customers on my cycle building hobbie and the $60 I charged him payed for it!
Good result.

95 is around $10.00 a gallon here now. Govt is taxing s h I t out of it at the moment as they subsidise a change to electric. I have spent $100 in 4 weeks driving!
Been on the push bike to work as much as possible to get some summer fitness going ahead of summer pursuits.
Have done 4 days on it this week and I'm ******* e d. Think I'll shout myself a bottle of wild Turkey on the way home to celebrate my accomplishments.
Hahahaha
$10.00 a gallon ? WTF? Are you in Nancy Pelosi land or something? Crap I though paying $3.37 here was a lot. and its hard not to romp when your tune is RIGHT ! Oooooh for the good ol' days(1965), my dad was paying $0.56 a gal for 100/130 octane Avgas for his company plane and I was getting some of it for my 327 -55 Chevy.

Non Tahoe related--my son came today and did the trans in my van. Of course I helped! Funny---how the roles were reversed. When I used to work on my cars--I used to drive 100 miles each way to work, so something was always breaking--he was under the van asking me to give him whatever tool he needed at the moment. I used to ask HIM for the tools I needed when I was under a car. Kid was smart too. Knew all his tools when he was 6-7 years old. I could ask him for a 3/8 ratchet with a 12 mm deep 12 point with an extension, and he always got it right! I said to him how the roles had reversed now. Funny how time flies by so fast, yet goes by so slow at the same time.

He's an a$$hole sometimes, but he takes after me! I love the kid.
Came all the way from Pa--3 hrs 1 way to help his dad. He def earned that $$ today!
Btw--that 4l80 was replaced once before. Had some wear marks/grooves on the tc's shaft.
Today was a long day, but I got to see my boy! Can't beat that.
