Had the day off--again--so I finally swapped out the ps mirror 20220221_180816.jpgAlso did the 2 plastic T connections. Easy, but what a PITA.20220221_154322.jpg
Got the old ones out without breaking them. Not sure if they were both aftermarket. Says made in China. Originals were made in Mexico. 20220221_180719.jpg20220221_180745.jpg
New ones in. 20220221_180928.jpg
Looks like the system is holding pressure again.

Mine are getting done this spring.
I think that’s when I’ll do mine. I have to figure on worst case scenario since I can’t find out if it’s even possible with the Whipple or if I I have to pull it. Every time I look at it I’m not sure if I can cut the old ones off. I’m pretty sure I can install the new ones since they just click on.

When I originally broke one about 4-5 years ago, I was able to get the rest of it off by using pliers. The pieces were just snapping off pretty easily.

I don’t think I can get pliers onto the DS one. The PS looks accessible. I can only hope that once I get the PS one off I’ll have room to get the other off. The blower hangs off to that side of the engine, right near the firewall.
