If you have a 00-02, it would be easier to swap the 02 esky powerfold mirrors in with the switch that goes where the 4wd controls would be than the 03+ style. Would be pretty easy to grab that stuff out of a junkyard

Yeah I agree considering the 05 mirrors I looked at had nowhere to plug in on my 02. I’m not interested in cutting the connectors off and wiring each wire to different connectors, the 05 has about 10 extra wires going to the mirror.

i'm going to use a rear window switch from a 99-03 protege. already figured out the wiring just, need to source out the switch and pigtail from the junk yard. the switch is flat so might mount it to the outlet plate in the center console.

This is what I'm going to use.
2 wires go to both of the fold motors (in/out)
1 power
2 grounds
Already tested it with the front window switch from the mazda protege, but to bulky to mount. So I'll be using the rear window switch which is flat and will sit flush.
