Same thing I was looking at!to me it looks like the belt is not seated right on the ps pump, like its a rib over hanging the edge. not sure if its rust or a groove i see on the inside of the ps pulley.

Well...I picked it up. The new front brakes that he was to install weren't on, they were completely MISSING!! I asked him where they were, he said he doesn't know. I told him I wanted them installed when I gave him the truck, along with the upper control arms, rear ss brake lines and all the other parts I gave him. So he started showing me all the bills--gaskets, head bolts, blah blah. I told him I wasn't eating those brakes. He had the balls to say how does he know that they were even in there!! That made me BEYOND PISSED! So now he's calling me a liar. I've know this kid for 8 years, and now he's calling me a liar. That one actually hurt! Going back and forth---anyway, he said just give him the $1800 and we're even. He's losing money, whatever, whatever. He doesn't want to know about the Tahoe anymore either. Ok.
There was alot more said, but you guys get the drift. Funny, the belt got thrown on the way home--so if it wasn't for my gf following me in my van I would've been stuck. Alt looks misaligned. Driving without getting on it, it's fine, but once you nail it, it throws the belt. Puked out antifreeze, and he put that greenish universal shit in it too. So, now I need to bleed the brakes because they're spongy AF, find out why my turn signals aren't working--either side--gotta get a wheel alignment because of the new upper control arms, figure out how to fix the misalignment with the alt, and some other odds and ends.
I'll get a vid and pics for you guys tomorrow.
I've been without it for a year! I wish it was perfect. I have that tech 2 so hopefully it'll bleed the abs with no problems. He replaced 1 rear caliper. I wonder if I could just bleed it the old fashioned way.....think so?Jeez I wouldn't have guessed that much would be jacked up. At least you got the bill down and got it home safely! All the little stuff can be tinkered with. That's the fun in having a hot rod anyway!

I use the bottle method myself--no muss, no fuss, plus I have speed bleeders.I've never had a Tech 2 and my brakes feel great IMO and compared to other gmt800s I've driven. I use a water bottle with a hole but in the top and piece of hose as my bleeder.

I can't wait to start fixing all the stuff myself. It's nearly free so I'd try that first. For the belt I'd check to make sure everything is tight. That jackwagon might have left stuff loose or missing.
