Anzir, I have a '15 LT. There were no ballasts. The ballasts came with the LED kit. The only thing after installing the LED's was that I had to add cancelers because the computer would shut the lights off when I was driving. After adding the cancellers, everything worked like a charm.

Might me a dumb question but does the Tahoe not come standard with hid?

MONDO....I live in Hawaii and everybody has HID'S now but I guess because of whiners, the police are cracking down. Had a few friends have to get their car towed home because of the HID's. I'm just happy to get away from that hideous yellow color.

Agreed anything is better than those yellow halogens.

The cancelers (thats what I call em) are another small box (like the ballasts) that will cancel out erroneous information to the cars computer. In my instance, the LED's were not staying on after I started to drive. After adding the cancelers, the LEDS did not turn off....

Can you tell us what brand you are using? The output looks pretty decent.

Are you sure? I thought I read the LT with Luxury Package comes with them.

I do not know the brand. I do know that it is 3200 lumens. They ship the LEDS in bulk and the store has to box them. The shipment came with boxes that could be instantly made. I think it's to save space when shipping instead of having the boxes take up so much space. I just saw they released a 3500 lumens LED, but my buddy says there is no huge difference. LED is still in it's infant stages, but for a start, I am very pleased. Especially since most people say that HID is the way to go with projectors.
