I just flipped through an article in the June issue of Chevy High Performance. Specifically their article on top end kits titled "Top Brawn".
I picked it up because I figured, a small block 350 is a small block 350.
But all the kits they show seem to be for carburated engines.
Searching in the past I couldn't find a performance intake manifold for our TBI motors. And none of these kits had a TBI manifold. Also one of these kits used Vortec heads.
If I remember correctly(I have horrible memory) I've read that there is no need to swap out either our heads or intake manifold as they are already a great combination. I've heard of swaps for marine manifolds, but I'm pretty sure that won't be legal here in California.
Is this true and there is no need to search for a top end kit, or have some of you found a set up that improved your power?
