Are the torsion bars on the z71 any different from the lt, on my lt I have the nivomat shocks on the rear and I've read with the nivomat shocks the springs in the rear have a lower spring rate than the z71 with standard shocks. So I was wondering if the front torsion bars are any different (lower spring rate?)

I don't think the front would be any different. I have an LT w/ autoride and the only differences that I know of are the shocks (obviously) and the rear coil springs. I just bought new rear coils from a z71 and I'm getting rid of the busted autoride and replacing all my shocks

i haven't heard of any differences in the tbars either. i also have the z71 rear coils with 2" spacer and it rides pretty good. only difference i've noticed in the rear is when i have a heavy load, it doesn't sag as much as before. i have been looking at some lift springs for the rear though. i've also been thinking of doing the front coilover swap and delete the tbars.
