The more I play around this truck and try to get things started on it with misc. little tweaks here and there, the more I notice:

-----> There are NO tow hooks on the front of the truck, but the holes for them are there.

Did the 2 wheel version in 2007 not come with tow hooks, or are those missing on my truck?

Thanks in advance.

Tow hooks do not come on a lot of these SUVs. At least that's how it used to be back in 07 when I got mine.
Just buy some and slap them on. I go the chrome ones because I figured they are more for looks anyway. Attmepting to actually be towed with them, or pull someone out of a ditch, will probably cause scratches/damage to the bumper cover since they are recessed in there.

Yeah, it was an option. Easy to install, grab them from eBay or Robbie SuperchargedSS

My 08 Tahoe LTZ had the holes but also did not come with the tow hooks. My 07 escalade has them though. I guess it's an option.

Thanks Guys, appreciate the insight.

Since these hooks are apparently not "missing" and the truck came this way, I will just leave it as is.

Since the Burb is a 2 wheeler and will most likely never see the dirt or the snow as I have my YUK as the 4 wheeler, I will not go through the trouble to install tow hooks which will most likely never be used.

Thanks again.

Never be used maybe ... but they look good filling that empty gap. :)

I think you can also get little aftermarket grilles to match the upper grille, but that might be for the fog light space and not the hook space.

Your right serge the aftermarket grill thingy are for the opening for the tow hooks. but IMO they look horrible just add some tow hooks and all is good.
