It is a federal mandate, can not be turned off.

I wonder if someone with a Tech2 called their truck a 2007, if the option would then allow them to turn it off. The option is there on my Tech2 but I cannot turn it off. 2008 and later it became a govment thing.

Finally sorted mine out this morning. I tried doing it with the Tech2 but learned this morning that if using the Tech2, one must also use that other tool. Once I turned the key on, truck off and pressed the two lock buttons it worked as described.

After lunch I'll use the Tech2 to clear the TPMS codes and that should turn off the light. Also set the the tires to Load Range C and it already knew the tire pressure was supposed to be 30psi or 206 kilo pascals.
