Modded, please enlighten me then because what am i asking for at the dealer. today on the highway i got messages on the DIC service traction and stability then it turned them off and the light remained on. called mcgaughys and he said if the steering wheel is not center with the brake pedal it will do that. now im bringing it to the dealer for an alignment because my wheel is NOT centered and they are going to reflash the EBCM. i hope this fixes it. costing my 85 for an alignment and 113 puls tax for the reflash. is this what your talking about. reflash the EBCM to re calibrate the system will fix this??

I'm supposed to get lowered on Wednesday. I guess I'm no to keen on the idea of getting warning lights from normal driving. Modded, yeah, if you can shed some more light on the Chevy service that can be performed, I'd appreciate it also.

You that have learned to live with the lights, do you do so because you tried everything and nothing works? Or, have you not gone the dealer route and just don't care anymore?

Just wondering what I'm in for.

Oh -- and what's the behavior of the warnings? Just get a light that then goes off? Or, get a light and dic message? Does anything ever stay on and not clear?

basically what happens on mine is when you turn all the way right at about 10 15 mph the traction light will go on for a couple of seconds and u will feel the abs pulse in the pedal. i found that 90 percent of the time i will not be turning that agressive or fast in a sharp u turn for it to happen. doesnt happen on 90 degree turns, only 180 degrees all the way to the lock. the reason i got the service traction message was because after my first alignment my steering wheel was crooked, so going down the highway after 10 miles the steering wheel angle sensor thinks the truck is going to roll over. if your wheel is not prefectly straight it will happen. took it to the dealer today, had them do and alignment, wheel seems ALMOST straight so ill find out on my 80 mile long drive to albany if its fixed. i also had them reflash the EBCM to re calibrate the suspension position. that cost me 113 and 89 for the alignment, so 220 later i should be good to go, BUT im still getting the light i tested it in my coldesack full lock all the way to the left and just turn in circles and it will flash the track light. guess im going to live with it and hope the 24s dont make it worse. what spindles did u get?
