you know Steve Meade got rear ended with is roll pan granted it was like 25mph and your recent accident was 45mph IIRC
it folded his roll pan something fierce but did nothing to his rear quarter panels AND he's not rocking a hitch

just has 7 batteries underneath and an air tank that neither got touched

SO that means with a hidden hitch you should in theory be alright considering the hitch attaches to your frame you have all that strength on top of the roll pan being welded in

The white on the rims really makes them pop. How about ditching the chrome on the bumper for black? I think it would look better than going with white. Just an idea. And if you do that...redo the with billet inserts to match the black. Would look hot.

+1 the black would look sick, i love the rims they really make it pop, super clean

Thanks, ya got lucky no injuries at that speed.

I just got done building that bike. Old school look. Took awhile to finish, having a kid doesn't help, but rides great, and came out good. Will post some pics of it.

thats's kinda good to hear, knowing nothing TOO bad happened. I really hope to never get hit again, but... can only knock on wood. But if I woulda had a roll pan, even with a hitch, I think it woulda been alot worse!! Probably both quarter panels and doors, which probably woulda totalled my ride.

Just gotta talk the ol lady into it now! LOL:emotions122:

glad your alright, truck can fixed replaced, but not people. Thats why they should take away folks phones in cars.. Cant stand it, someone flys by, then all the sudden your passing them..take a look and their on the phone.. Thats why i want a jacked up truck w/ swammpers,, i would run thier ass over... Hence why i dont have one.. lol..

but glad your alright,, and the hitch does absorb some impact, but if hit hard it will bend your frame right where you bolt it to. That far most point from the back of the truck towards the front. (if that makes sense) Bend good and your truck is gone....Just another fyi.. but that hard, and its more problems than that..
