Also remember it’s liquid to liquid instead of liquid to air. It can be much smaller and have better efficiency.And BTW, here's what that dinky standard trans cooler on the side of the radiator looks like.
Wow. Learned something new today.If your Tahoe is the same as my 2019 Yukon w/ Max Tow there is a separate Aux Transmission Cooler and A/C Condenser as a single unit in front of the radiator. The aux trans cooler is the smaller section, about the top 5-6 inches of the unit. The rest is the A/C condenser. This is in addition to the standard vertical Oil Cooler and Trans Cooler on the sides of the standard radiator. Trans coolant goes first through the section on the side of the radiator and is then routed forward to the Aux cooler in front, then back to the transmission. Otherwise you may just have the standard oil and trans coolers on the sides of the radiator.
