Our 2019 Tahoe has a trailering package listed rpo Z82. I see code - KC4 engine oil cooler and KNP - Hd aux. trans cooling system. Are these added on coolers or built in to the radiator? Would this rig have the lower temp transmission thermostat? Also see a 3:08 rear end ratio which seems a bit odd for a serious tow machine.

You should have a 3:42 gear and a built in trailer brake controller next to the light switch left side of the steering wheel. It is referred to as a Max Trailing Package, RPO code NHT.

Does have a wire connector in a plastic bag in the glove box for a trailer brake of some sort. Probably a lesser towing package on our machine. Doubt we'll ever tow anything anyway. Just wondering if these coolers are actual separate heat exchangers. Don't see any hanging in front of the radiator. Do see the shutters.

I downloaded the RPO list from GM, has the correct VIn but I see a couple other things that are not right.

The transmission coolers should be 1 separate mounted in front of the radiator and 1 built into the radiator, plumbed in series. For engine oil there should be one cooler built into the drivers side of the radiator end tank only.

I have the same options on thethirdtwin, including the gears. I can’t say the auxiliary cooler is jumping out at me either.

The end tank coolers are both there.

If your Tahoe is the same as my 2019 Yukon w/ Max Tow there is a separate Aux Transmission Cooler and A/C Condenser as a single unit in front of the radiator. The aux trans cooler is the smaller section, about the top 5-6 inches of the unit. The rest is the A/C condenser. This is in addition to the standard vertical Oil Cooler and Trans Cooler on the sides of the standard radiator. Trans coolant goes first through the section on the side of the radiator and is then routed forward to the Aux cooler in front, then back to the transmission. Otherwise you may just have the standard oil and trans coolers on the sides of the radiator.

Did you pay GM or download a generic list?

$5 to compnine and they will decode your VIN, if it's on file. 5 VINs for 5 bucks.

I don't know a Yukon or Tahoe that doesn't come with that package. It is the basic tow equipment they all have. If it has anything extra heavy duty it will be listed.
