all you need is a replacement transmission line fitting it comes with a clip, there like $10 basically, I see no reason to take such a long drive to find one
same part could be scavenged off any gm from 00-14 and probably 15-20 as well
Thanks, I got it taken care of the day after my initial post.

For me, this is something that wouldn't be worth trying to scavenge on short notice. The yard closest to me is 15 miles away, the next is 45 miles away on the route to Summit, and the next is 50 miles away, and none of them have live info on what parts are on a vehicle, just that a given vehicle is in the yard and how long it's been there, so a clip being there is a crapshoot.

I have had a couple in the past shoot off into never-never land, as a result I now have a couple spares in the tool box, just in case
