Trip Mileage Much Higher Than Odometer Mileage

Sorry to say. Your brother has been had. When i get gauges reprogrammed, the programmers never delete the trip mileage. If the year is mileage exempt then there is nothing you can do

there is still plenty of recourse local media would have a field day and put them out of business..

Would it be possible for the cluster to have been replaced from a vehicle with higher mileage and they programmed the correct mileage but didn’t reset the trip?

Dude. Just run a carfax. It will tell you everything as far as mileage howg

Great idea!! I was only offering up an idea, wasn’t my post. I always get a carfax and service records prior to purchase.
