Not sure what the logic is on some of the long wait times, but I’ve seen locally in Ontario many dealer receiving unsold units, diesel, 5.3 and 6.2 just about any version. think the backlogs are clearing up. Just bought an SLT that was not pre-ordered, same dealer has an unsold Denali Ultimate, a Tahoe Diesel and AT4 on the lot. Love those rims

there was an influx of Yukon/Tahoes back in Aug/Sep that were the first dealer stock 2023s...a lot came in unsold...my guess is most of those are gone by now and we're back to playing the allocation lottery

What do they want for the Ultimate? I wonder if it’s marked up quite a bit, so people are smartly saying no thanks. Plus 6% interest on 84 months probably stings.

Ultimate was stickered at $111K CDN , no markup. could have had preferred pricing on it. first stonechip I’d have a heart attack though, so passed on that one.

biggest holdup locally as of Sept/2022 is a luxury tax. anything over $100K gets slapped with 10% on $100K and 20% on anything over the $100K. Crazy..Doubt Ultimate will be big seller going forward.

(All those taxes turns that one into $137,430.00 CDN/ 101400 USD)

(Paid $63700 USD, Tax incl for my SLT)

My order has been produced, so I'll probably pass, but the local dealer has an ultimate coming in as dealer stock that I was on the top of the list for. They're selling it MSRP + 2500 markup and offering 0% for 36 months.

I don't think they understand how long it takes to get shipped up here because they were so excited to get me over to start the paperwork, a month ago, and it's still in transit
