What's involved in doing a tune-up on these if you try to do it yourself?

What is a typical cost for a shop to do it?

Besides 8 spark plugs, 9 spark wires, 1 coil, 1 coil driver, and 1 distributor?
Costs should be based on 2hrs labor or less.

6'2 with long arms and I'm not sure I can even reach the distributor, let alone use a tool to remove it.

The days of the "tune-up" a term that should have gone away by now. First place to start is with a scan for trouble codes and physical observation under the hood for signs of previous work performed. Maintenance items are replacement of spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor also filters air and fuel. Before any parts replacement if there are any driveability issues that needs to be diagnosed first. Very little "tuning" involved aside from checking distributor position with a scan tool.
