Never lower a 4x4. it is just wrong. not to mention it is just hard in the testies.
I'm lowering mine 2/4. I just haven't installed the kit yet. I'm keeping an eye out for some ~31" mud terrains for it too.

Been running my lowered 4x4 for 3 years. Drivetrain was good and suspension was awesome.
Only had to replace a pitman arm, a bj, hub bearing, and an axel. All orignal with 100ish to 120ishk on it. On 22's too beating the snot out of it.
Rear shackles are only 2 inches so rear shackles and a front hanger will yield 4 inches of drop total.
Damn now I want to go back to a drop!
