Never lower a 4x4. it is just wrong. not to mention it is just hard in the testies.

I'm lowering mine 2/4. I just haven't installed the kit yet. I'm keeping an eye out for some ~31" mud terrains for it too. :signs6:

Been running my lowered 4x4 for 3 years. Drivetrain was good and suspension was awesome.

Only had to replace a pitman arm, a bj, hub bearing, and an axel. All orignal with 100ish to 120ishk on it. On 22's too beating the snot out of it.

When I uncranked the front of mine I put a 2" drop spring shackle in the rear and it didn't seem to be low enough even for my 20's with 275/55 tires. I was going to do a 2" lower spring hanger for the front of the leaf spring.

Rear shackles are only 2 inches so rear shackles and a front hanger will yield 4 inches of drop total.
Damn now I want to go back to a drop!
