yeah, you actually spray the Metal Ready on the surface. Let it sit for a little bit and then apply the Por15 and it dries extremely hard.

Rust on tahoe

My car too has undercarriage rust, probably a northern or coastal car. Weird thing is that I have 3 armrest that have what looks like rust coming through. I clean it and it comes back. There is visible rust inside the door. Rust through rubber doesn't sound right, but rust is tricky. Any thoughts, thx!

Kind of the wrong section for you but it doesnt really matter. You have a 2010 hoe and are already having rust problems? Are you saying that you have rust on your arm rest? Inside the car??

I'm sorry but you should not be seeing ANY rust on a 2010 no matter what part of the country you live in

I think the POR15 is black and there is no need to paint.....right?

Functionally, you are correct. It however doesn't resist UV so it will fade over time, POR15 also sells a top coat for this very purpose so it stays a deep black. This is what I plan on doing this next year.

x2 They also sell a couple other colors as well. I think gray and silver are available as well but definitely use the top coat if the Por15 is to see sunlight....

I'd be pissed off! I ain't paying the money these things cost for it to rust in a YEAR! If I start seeing bubble 10 years down the road I'm alright with that but not in a year! GM would be hearing from me and very loudly!
