how would i tie it in though

To any 12 volt constant hot source, in the under hood fuse block, just put it on its own lil 2-10amp fuse, so if it shorts it doesnt take out a priority circuit.

im not really good at wiring at all. How would i do that? I can fix just about anything but when it comes to wiring im lost

Well, No Power so far and have not lifted the material under the hood to see if the OEM cutout is in the hood for the OEM Under hood Light, but it's cheap at AMAZON. 21.64 with a LED Festoon Lamp and it IS Clean. still need the
I like the LED Idea and a LED Light Bar even better
