alright so a little update. The good news is, yes the factory amp is bypassed and the OS-2c works. The bad news is once i tried stuffing it back in the hole everything stopped. No led even when hitting Onstar. before i put it back in the hole every thing was fine all speakers sounded great onstar worked RAP etc. But pushed it back in and nothing, Not even power to the head unit. I dont see any bad fuses. Any ideas guys?

Also before it stopped working I know it was still saying the park brake was not engaged. Is there a proper procedure for hooking up the relay? I see no mention in the instructions

When you pushed the radio back in you prolly yanked a wire loose. Double check all connections. Are you trying to bypass the parking brake for video?

I was, but I dont really care. I tried checking for loose wires but I think its faild at the pac. Does it still power on even without a radio hooked in? Im trying to figure out if its the harness or the PAC

Well for the parking brake bypass depends on the radio, so which do you have? Yes the pac should still power up without the radio in. Just take a volt meter and start metering pin's and the connector's. Check your fuses under the hood too.

Pioneer p2400BT. Says light green wire goes to park brake/relay but on the pac harness the relay has no extra slots. I have found a few loose wires so am getting a better crimp tool and see if it still works.

No problem. I figured either that or a loose connection. However, being that you had a wire come loose, I would recommend soldering and heat shrink all of them.

Glad you got it going.

Yep I just choose to not worry about the park brake. I did heat shrink everything but just used crimps. I plan on getting a new model deck soon just wanted it to work right. One thing at a time. If any one needs help just ask! I have learned a lot during this process
