you said you have the big 3 done, which consists of upgrading the factory wire to 4 gauge or larger, preferably 0 gauge. big 3 = upgrade the alt + to battery +, battery - to chassis, and then engine block to chassis.

if you have that done then your good, just swap your alt for a new one.

Ok perfect. I'm running 0 gauge.
I'm upgrading to either 4 Type-X's or 4 Image Dynamics IDMAX's. :hands:

awesome. are you going for more sound quality? those type R's will be louder than X's or IDMAX's

Well my buddy owns a car audio shop and he has all of the equipment so I will be able to hear what I like the best before I buy them at cost =]

Should I rebuild my current alternator or should I buy a whole new one?
Should I go with 200 AMPS or 250 AMP alternator?

Juat my 2 cents but you could run a scond battery for the system and connect an isolater in between the batteries. Will save draw on your alt and you won't necessarily have to upgrade thus saving your pocket book some scratch.

So nothing bad will happen by upgrading from the stock 105 Alternator to a 250 amp alternator?
