Moving over from the center brake lamp on the roof to the full width version that spreads across the entire length of the reflector. This truck isn’t as prone to being hit as the black YXL Denali but the extra spray of LEDs on the heads up should be an even better stopping deterrent.

Got a tinted version because it looks better than the red. Eventually I’ll see if I can swap the clear, slightly tinted 12-14 Premium trim lens over the this unit to match the 12-14 tail lamps better.

The individual led technology is slowly disappearing with the newer neon look that’s still led, but has a diffusing lens or pipe type led lamp inside.

The 2015+ full length tail lamps are cool and striking but for me, only on a 2015 truck.

Tough call. The truck above is a 12-14 Premium with the OEM roof clear tinted lens. We’ll just have to see.

Thanks for the heads up. I did see the OEM gently smoked / clear ones were still in stock. The only issue was that somehow, someway, someone (GM?) had found a way to lean on the guy the made the full width led 3rd conversion kits.

I needed a 12-14 Premium oem style 3rd brake lamp but there’s no one to make them light up on their full width anymore. For $175 to the door, couldn’t pass this up.

It’s Christmas Eve 2024. It’s been an awesome year rolling coal 100+ octane e85 on Teslas and they can’t even tell. Good times in CA filling up this 6.2L Esky for $75 on alcohol vs $140 on 91.

Happy Holidays to all and your loved ones.

Just weeks away from throwing all the aluminum front suspension parts on the 09 Escalade, then …

Crunchy sound. Walk around the truck and see that the front p/s brake disc is scorched earth. Fortunately the last front brake job was a pad slap and the rotors were OEM. Even had them turned down for reuse one more time.

I have a set of CTS-V BBK ready to be installed but must have zero down time as this vehicle is a daily and still have a back injury. I went bargain shopping on Amazon & R/A. Using R/A as my pilot I found bargain basement Raybestos discs and my preferred Bosch ceramic pads. Then I checked Amazon and their “like new”, torn up packaging special. That got me the same deal for $139 including tax & delivery in 48 hours. The Indi did me a solid and installed the boat anchors for $100.

Really thankful not to be chained down to a dealer with a new car. Having access to good, inexpensive parts on the fly rocks.
