so for a while now, i've been throwing 2 codes that are pissing me off. P0171 and P0174, running lean banks 1 & 2. I did remove my intake manifold a while ago, but put it back without a problem. While the engine was running I used carberator spray to find the leak, but it didn't work. My next guess is the air filter. Those things have got to be notorious for leaks. Any suggestions?

Along with this, I have a misfire.

Re-oiled your K&N? Have you cleaned your MAF lately?

What exactly do i have to re-oil? I've taken into account the MAF sensor but haven't taken care of that problem yet.

There is a recharge kit for the K&Ns that comes with oil. You apply it after cleaning the filter. I was just asking because it's easy to over oil your filter. Excess oil can cover your MAF causing it to read faulty. I'm not sure if this is your issue but it could be related and it's an easy fix.

ensure eng-1 fuse under hood is intact. Make sure you have no Evap system or other vacuum lines detached.

Any misfires to go along with this problem?

I'll be sure to check on the fuse and lines as well. I do know for a fact I have a misfire. Problem is I don't know which one it is since my little brother cleared my codes without reading them. Shame. I'm waiting for the check engine to come on. It's on as of now but it's only reading the other two codes, so I haven't cleared them yet.

an active misefire will actually make the CEL flash. And don't wait for code just see if you can pull up the individual cylinder misfire history.
