VCIM Swap for Bluetooth Capability

Ok I unplugged the mic and there is no echo. Just thinking now, before we did the swap, we called onstar and they never mentioned an echo. Probably should if mentioned that earlier.

I ended up switching back to my old VCIM and called onstar and got no echo.

Maybe a bad connection on the new vcim or the mic. I would wiggle the plug on both ends while on a call.

I ended up leaving the old VCIM in because my wife would rather have onstar know who we are in case an emergency. Has anyone heard of the bluefusion?

Yes. That's what I was going to go with before I did the vcim. You can find them new on eBay sometimes for like 75 bucks.

The only one I found is 180 on ebay...... Also, I bought the stock navi for it for $500, is it a straight swap?

U will need the gps antenna n such. They sell a upgrade package on eBay I believe. The blue fusions will pop up cheaper. Just be patient.
