Volant Tip for 2009 6.2l

Has anyone spoken with Volant lately about the resonator delete and tip.
I spoke to them about this time last year and they claimed they needed a test truck for the 09 but then possible they were not goign to produce the resonator delete and tip.
I don't see too many options listed for a 09 hoe 6.2L Can I just go off a Denali listing for perfomance upgrades?

I would like some sort of full catback or the resonator delete and tip from Volant. They had a nice setup for the 5.3.

I have one of the last Volant Super tips made for the Denali ..... good luck as they are very scarce and the company doesn't seem to have the desire to produce them.

yes I was told they were thinking about stopping production of them Dec last year.
Will keep my eye for a used one.

Currently we are not producing new exhaust systems just carrying what we have tell there gone. In todays market no one wants to pay 1000+ for a cat back so we are moving to other projects at this time. You may see exhaust in the future check www.volant.com for updates thanks

There are some of the 5.3 versions (old stock I guess) floating around. Volant's site lists the application as 07/08 vehicles but I would think it would fit any nnbs wouldn't it?

This would be for the Volant Super Tips #15253756 Silverado/Yukon/Tahoe. I have a 2010 Tahoe LT.

You can do the SLP tip and res delete for 6.2:

I found the Volant Super Tip online for 5.3 for about the same price as the SLP. Volant stainless steel is supposedly of higher quality and its all welded (one piece) as opposed to the SLP (two pieces). Coarse I'm splitting hairs here.

No such thing as higher quality then SLP. SLP is an OEM supplier. They did the Firehawk and Camaro SS conversions for GM. They use the same materials that GM does, which is made to last so they don't have to replace because of warranty claims. If their exhausts fail, so will the whole factory system.

FYI DO NOT GET A 5.3L EXHAUST TIP. They have a 3" exhaust vs the 6.2L 3.5" exhaust.
