How hard is install? Tempted to buy it but don't know how hard it is to put in.

It's pretty easy. Cut off the old with a reciprocating saw/metal blade and bolt on. Helps to have an impact gun to get it really tight. Or you could have a muffler shop throw it on for $50.

I went to a muffler shop and got both my magnaflow muffler and volant tips welded on for about $40-60.

Welding is definitely better. Mine has been nice and tight for last 6 months...I'll get it welded on if it ever loosens.

Yea I actually have a bolt on factory GM chrome tip on the escalade and it fits just fine. But when I had my tahoe, I just felt that the Volant tips were kind of heavy and wanted them extra secure so I had them weld it. I'm sure using their bolt-on solution is just fine.

so, how much louder is it? i like the look but I don't want loud exhaust... if i was in college i'd just dump the exhaust... cant do that now a days...
