2012 burb doesnt fit remotely close to any of the pics you guys posted....What the hell!!!!

Mine went on my 12 Avy so same chassis as your burb. I took it to a muffler shop to get it welded on. They had to tweak the hanger a little but there wasn't any major modification needed.

Not having the kit or instructions here yet, I'm wondering: is there a need to mess with the tips/where you cut/etc. to get the tips to sit flush with the body? Also, will the tips sit a set distance behind the rear tire, or do you need to/can you mess with it to get it closer to/farther from the tire?

I guess I'm wondering if this is a clear-cut cut-and-go operation, or if you have to mess with things to get the tips just right.

What I would suggest is have a shop do the cutting and welding. This way you can put your suggestions on where you want it. Thats what I did. You can put it anywhere, you see fit, if a shop is doing it. $30 bucks to do everything.

Thanks, Alex. I asked because I'm thinking the tips would look best as close to the rear tire as possible. It's just that I don't know what "possible" is with this. Don't know if the angle of the tips is such that it HAS to go in a certain location, or if the collector pipe would hit something if it were too close to the tire, etc.

I WILL have a shop do this -- I just didn't know how "malleable" the set up is as it pertains to the existing exhaust set up.

Thanks again.

Super cool you guys hopped on the deal. I thought it was totally worth it.

KMeloney I think if you have the shop do it you can put it whereever you want. If you look at the pics I posted there seemed to be kind of a natural place to put it on the hybrid bumper becasue of the plstic trim.

They are all gone now!
