Battery light is indicating an issue. You need to load test your although and battery, voltage measurement isn't enough.

It’s been doing this for a couple of weeks. Up and down at diff. Times.What is the voltage of your battery after 12-24 hours?

Anyway to test it other than replace it?I have had this problem and it turned out to be he voltage regulator/alternator. Put 2 AZ reman alternators on before I threw a fit on the 3rd one and had them replace it with a NEW one.( the reman ones work for a week or so then went bad) The new one has been ok for a few months now.
31.5 v on A/CTurn your voltmeter to AC. See if you show any voltage.
Most likely the voltage regulator is going bad.
