Just picked up a GMPP TBI intake manifold to work with the 96+vortec heads. On top of that i picked up a 700cfm Holley throttle body with 70lb injectors with a pod spacer, 18lb spring, TB spacer and more. With addition of the ****** longtubes and electric fans and CAI, im hoping to really perk up this TBI. All emission friendly for dumb ohio.

now just a couple more things to grab and she should be a pretty torqueyy mother F'er. I'm thinking cam along with the new heads, double roller chain and a programmable computer then i wouldn't need to get chips burned all the time.

This with along with everything else will be done in the winter time when i have some time... IE, in the process of reupholstering my seats, headliner and door panels, i have a 5/7 drop i have to put on, SSBC rear disc kit, MSD ignition shit, and a couple other odds and ends stuff. should be a slammed fast hoe here shortly, i just wish i still had my Whipple :(

Not sure, actually im reading on some as i type. Im not camsmart, so any help you have well deff be appreciated. Found some good information with these 2 cams on a TBI motor
Edelbrock 2102 or Comp 12-249-4
Ill have to change the rocker arms for sure when going with a milder cam.

Thanks!, I hope so man. I have some stuff i need to paint on the truck this winter, debating about making it a tu-tone. whatcha think about that? black from the bottom of the windows up. and keeping the bottom orange. its still in the air, but if i get some time this winter i might do it.

I have a lot going on right now, i just opened up my own shop. about 5thous square feet (commercial building) where ill be upholstering for a living. boats, cars, trucks, whatever you have it will be done. then for side jobs ill paint, body work, mechanical and shit.

I don't know. I like the look you're sporting now , maybe it's just me but adding more black would look off. Maybe do a photo shop shot of it to try and get a visual. I wanna see pics of the interior when you get it upholstered..

be interesting on what final compression will be, with 64cc Vortec head on there. I'd use a Comp, but wouldn't ever use an Edelbrock cam. But that's me.

I had a similar setup planned out, I was going a lil more aggressive on the intake, was gonna do a Edlebrock RPM non air gap with a carb/TBI adapter and something like an LT4 cam with bee hive springs and Vortec heads. Should be fun if it can be tuned. :D
