I'll have to look at that on mine...
I still want to do something about my fog lights, but none of the solutions I've read about on here sound like they work that great. And I kinda want to keep it looking mostly "stock".
Clear your stock fog lights, big difference. I did it to mine. Nobody believes me about it lol

How exactly and where exactly did you put the diodes, fuse box? Very interesting mod especially the all on dome.
I used two diodes and a short wire, but all the wiring is up in the dome light.

The map lights still work as stock, but they also come on with the dome light.

The problem with this mod is you can screw stuff up if you don't do it right.
You have to figure out what current your lights are drawing and make sure the diodes you select won't burn out or cause a fire.

This is an easy mod if you know how to read a schematic, because you most likely will have the knowledge and test equipment to the mod safely.

That's why I'd rather not put up the instructions on how to do this mod. I'd be too easy to mess it up.

The all-on dome mod has been done by others here on the forum, I believe there's a write-up in the tech section. It's not too hard.

Yes, there is a write-up on how to do this (you can find it here), but you don't want to just throw any old diode you have laying around and hope for the best. Worst that can happen is something catches on fire, best of the worst is the diodes pop.
You want to measure the current that your lights pull and then select a diode that can handle that.
My LEDs draw 300 mAh, so I was able to use some 1A diodes that I had in my parts box.
It looks like @mazdawg(Mikey) used a 20A diode.
Also, I soldered my connections.

EDIT: It also looks like they changed the wiring of the dome light for the newer NBS trucks (I think in '03?). It sounds like the polarity would be reversed on the newer trucks.

Yes just go overboard. I used diodes on my fog lamp and drl relays for the full time on mods. I used 25v 20 amp ones. As long as they're rated for more amps and higher voltage than the total circuit ( as in fuse size) you're good. That way you're guaranteed to be safe- the first to blow should always be the fuse not an individual component you have hidden somewhere that can only be found by following the smoke.

So I just bought these on Amazon:

I figured I needed something to replace the faded United we stand bumper sticker.

And the short horn is 12", and the long one is 14". (link)

Also have a new $20 8" subwoofer to tide me over until I can drop another $500 on the truck to put a proper amp and sub in it.
Monday I'm getting a new set of Alpines in the doors.

Sure could have used these the last few days. Well S. Florida pretty much every day. Lol

Interested to see how you go with/thoughts on install and performance.

My stock fog lights lost their lenses long before I got the truck, so I need to buy something to replace them.
Yea, buy another set of stock lights lol. Common problem the lens falling off. Do what I did bake them open remove the shroud and add extra sealant when installing the lens and they're good forever.
