Has anyone installed a walbro 400 fuel pump on their 07+? If so, what will I need to do other then drop the gas tank. I will be installing a turbo and want to upgrade my fuel setup for it.

Walbros are really nice pumps. I put one in my sol and love it. You should have a couple straps you gotta unbokt aswell as remove the filler neck . Then should be able to drop down the tank and swap over. Imo I would run it close to empt and not drop all the way just enough for you to reach the pump assembly and swap out. I swapped a fuel pump on a firebird and those you gotta cut the exhaust so not sure if you have to or not. Good luck and be safe and most I importantly have fun

from all the stuff i have been reading. i thought the stock pump was ok for turbo'ing. as long as your not trying to run over 8-10 psi

Dropping the tanks on tahoe suck, especially those stupid evap lines inside of the tank. It will be fairly custom inside of there if you swap in the pump.

My goal is to get around 500-700hp max on my 4.8. I was going to pick up 60# siemen injectors, walbro 400 fuel pump, circle d 2800 stall converter, NGK t6 plugs, isky triple 12 cams and a twin turbo kit with gt35r turbos.
