Walk around after cam and heads

I did a short walk around of my yukon after heads/cam swap. Untuned

You can barely hear the cam im considering installing a electric cut out for when i dont have the family and i wanna hear the lope.

Tsp 212/218 113lsa
Prc cnc ported 243 heads (It came with 799s stock but didnt want alot of down time so i bought 243/799 heads and sent them out ahead of time)
10296 melling pump
Upgraded trunuions
Tsp 7.4 hardened pushrods
Gibson ceramic headers
Ls6 springs
Ls7 lifters
Dod delete
Ls3 tb
S@b intake
4port steam port.
Aluminum oil barbell
Magnaflow muffler
Slp resonator delete

Im very curious to hear what your oil pressure is at after the install. I am currently considering changing the oil pump to a m295 or 10295 because im at 37-40psi warm idle and 82psi reving it at 4k in park. I haven't taken it past that due to not having a tune. I currently have the 10296 but i installed new cam bearings so i think that with a brand new cam really shot my oil psi up.

Sounds good. 5.3 or 6.2?

I just got done doing a similar build on my 5.3, except I opted for the BTR stage 1 truck cam. I was just going to do DOD delete and put the same heads back on, but like you didn't want any downtime, so I bought the same heads outright from TSP (no core). After I took them off, I saw how oil fouled they were and was glad to have a clean set on hand.

It really woke my 140k 5.3 up, it's actually not anemic now and pushes you back in the seat very nicely. I just wanted some decent passing power and to be able to get going easier at part throttle. It definitely succeeded there.

The one disappointment was how much louder the valvetrain is now. I wasn't suspecting a low lift cam to be this noisy but I guess it comes with the territory of faster ramps on the lobes.

FYI I have the melling 10295 pump. It has 5 psi or so over stock. That's the one you want after disabling DOD since you don't need the higher volume now for AFM to work properly.

I've noticed that lower LSAs tend to have more of a noticeable lope. Is this true? I tried reading what exactly LSA is but never saw anything that tied it the sound of the lope. You can hear a small lope in it....maybe a tune will bring it out more. Has it been tuned yet?

LSA = Lobe Separation Angle

This is the number of degrees between the peaks of the intake and exhaust lobes on the cam. The lower the LSA (lobes closer together) the more overlap the cam has and the more lope you will have. This also creates less low end torque because it bleeds off some of the compression.
