want your opinion for sts turbo kit

I am lookin into a sts kit for my 00yukon 5.3... Now I hear good and bad about these kits, about lag, oil feed, blah blah. Just wondering if anyone here has a kit on there truck, or know someone who has one on a gm truck and if they ever had any problems.... I know KB Racing has a non intercooled kit for $2500, and looks pretty descent. But I can get my hands on a sts kit off a sliverado, just needs the gt67 rebuilt. Im wondering on the cost of the rebuild??? But all in all, whats your opinion on the sts kits, are they worth the $$$ for the perf, alote of maint, installation, etc etc...

Also trans is stock only vette servo, and cai for the motor.
