Was 4g an option in a 2015 PPV

The reason I ask is due to my factory nav not working. I installed the 8” screen with factory bav, car play, but I can’t get any satellites. The only thing I can think of this being is the wiring I had to do to the onstar module. One option of wiring was if you had 4g, the other was was without. I was told if you see a certain color plug, you have 4g. I saw it, but I’m starting to rethink it. Being a PPV and it’s stripped down nature, I was just curious if 4g was an option and if using the wrong plug on my onstar module would affect me getting ANY satellites.

No, the 2015-2016s only had 3G, thus black plastic antennas.

it would say on your build sheet, you can get that from GM tech support on the gm website m-sat regular hours, eastern time. just go to the gm website, select your make and then you will see a "chat" feature, provide them with your vin and they can email you the build sheet. they close a little earlier on saturdays, closed sundays
