You just described a new home built by a large developer....Quality & durability are independent. Something can be very durable but the fit & finish can be of poor quality with bad alignment or unfinished surface.

Me too. Same issue. My older W-techs did not do this.I've had Weathertech floor liners for a number of years, and they are fine EXCEPT that the outside corners on the front liners curl up and away from the truck's body over time. I sometimes catch my foot on the curl, when I get into the truck.
If I were to replace these liners in the future, I would purchase Husky liners the next time, due to the curling issue.
I've designed & had 6 personal homes built in the last 40 years with me doing some of the work. I've fired subcontractors for subpar work. You have to go to the buildsite daily. You just described a new home built by a large developer....
Yup... I was a 'stand-in' on a hill top site as the superintendent. Built the final 3 homes. I had to baby sit the contractors. Kept them from being lazy. It's the last 5% of their work that makes the difference. And, don't leave their mess for the other trades to clean up, ahead of the next trades work.I've designed & had 6 personal homes built in the last 40 years with me doing some of the work. I hit mine with a heat gun last cleaning and it worked for a while. Gonna try a couple Velcro strips on the problem area next time I clean them and get a chance to shape again.I ordered my WT liners - 3 rows and the back storage area - days after coming home with my 17 Burb. Curling where the doors close in the 2nmd row is my only issue. Otherwise they are kick ass.
Attaching a velcro strip, onto plastic or rubber, may not hold for long. I added a couple rivets to the velcro strip, on rubber to hold it in place.I hit mine with a heat gun last cleaning and it worked for a while.
