hmmm... maybe brake hardware rubbing? did the hardware get changed when the brakes were done?

No just pads and rotors but it only happens when turning right weird

I'd be checking exhaust!! If it's only when you are turning right, get under the truck and try pushing the exhaust to the left and right and see if any of it is touching anything it shouldn't!! I had a section of my corsa come partially loose on me a while back and when I'd turn a certain direction (can't remember which way) but it would kinda make this weird scraping/vibrating noise that drove me up the wall!! It wasn't too loud but was still pissing me off!

why dont you try squirting some wd40 or similar lubricant on the various pivot points one at a time untill you dont hear the noise you speak of? chances are the last one you hose down will be your problem

exhaust? hmm... didnt think of that... touche my friend. backing plate might b rubbing but why only while turning right? unless you have excessive play in the axle which would be bad. or its bent in just enough to where the acceptable tolerance is making it rub. god i love forums! you get so many points of view!

Two things I might look at-

The panhard bar meets the rear axle housing on a pivot joint. Sometimes where that joint meets the axle housing can crack at the weld and only squeak when turning/hitting bumps.

2nd and more probable- Check your rear axle bearings for play. If they're moving at all when you're turning you'll hear a metal to metal from the brakes not being in line.

Just some ideas!

So I've noticed a weird sound coming from the rear short of rubbing noise like metal on metal but very very faint when turning right and vehicle is in motion. It sounds like its coming from the rear brakes. I tried lighting holding brakes and not holding brakes when turning I hear it either way. I'm clueless also after 1000 miles on new pads I still smell that usual brake pad smell when having new pads is that still possible after 1000 miles??? I want to say the smell is mostly coming from the rear possible brakes stuck? Holding? And if so I don't feel it at all maybe cause its the rear brakes and they are not as strong as front?? I've put the car in drive no gas and it feels like its moving freely with no noise unless I turn right.

Thanks in advance

Bro i just had this SAME EXACT PROBLEM.... Ok heres what happened to me.. on right turns id hear the noise and i thought it was a bad bearing. I took everything apart on my rear left brake assembly and noticed everything was legit.. It was almost a chirping/metal grinding noise.. so I topped off my Diff fluid and greased the living dog poop out of my pads and everything metal and boom its gone. Before you start spending that $ check your pads and just make sure its not the same thing I had.. I would hit the brake and it would stop when everything tightened up. It got progressively worse also. Who knows?

I looked under the truck today everything looked normal exhaust ,calipers ,shield behind rotors, brake hose , I'm going to pull it apart and try what you did. How do you top of diff fluid???? And what do you mean by check your pads??? I've replaced the rear pad and rotors 1k miles ago .does anyone know if I should still be smelling that new brake pad smell after 1k miles??? Because I do get the smell coming from the rear and I'm starting to think stuck caliper.
