What can I do with a 2003 Tahoe?

They will fit factory y pipe.but you gain nothing but looks and valve train noise.

So basically shorty headers are like shiny factory headers? That really makes me want the long tubes now.lol wish i could find the y pipe for long tube headers with cats cheap.

What is odd is that all 3 Magnaflow y-pipe part numbers use 2.5" mandrel bent pipe.

I may just look for a used 2 piece y-pipe set up off a Denali or Escalade 6.0.
Those have 2 in and 1 out mufflers with 2.5" or 2.75" in and I think 3.5" out.

The Magnaflow & MBRP 5.3 cat-backs are 3" tubing, which is the same as the factory after the muffler.

I know it sounds dumb and counterproductive but I think I'm gonna get some shorties just for looks and being able to use factory pipe. Than that leaves money for better intake and hid headlights and more. And that's the other thing its so hard to trust these companies when they have so many oddball sizes of pipe for the same engine and truck. It would suck to get that y pipe and start cutting and pricing things together only to find out its to big or small.

The muffler I'm interested in is the super 10 series. I can't find pipe bent for the cat back with this muffler though. Do you think I should just get the muffler and have the shop custom bend pipe for the dual exits? Or do you think they will overcharge.

What's the labor in headers my old ssei was a nightmare as it was fwd. So I've become leary to even think about it haha
