Drove it up to Banff, Canada. Checked out Lake Louis. Amazing stuff.

Hit and killed a bird on the way back to Idaho. It’s inside my grille and I’ll have to wait until I get home to Arizona to disassemble some parts to remove the dead bird.
I have hit 3 or 4 over the years, had one in the grill for a while didn't even see it until the wife mentioned it lol

Changed the Trans Fluid and added the New Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP fluid along with the Superior Cooler Flow Bypass Kit. I didn't change the filter because the Audi dealer that we bought the Yuke from had did a Trans Flush & Filter 3 months before we bought it, but they didn't know what fluid they put in.
Figured I would wait till next year and do a fluid and filter change then.
Right now I am looking at new wheels and tires!!

Washed, clay barred, and waxed for the first time. I wanted to do it when we got it last fall and right away this spring, but never could find the time. Of course before I was even done claying it the wife was asking when I'd be done so she could go somewhere. Get done and it starts raining and off she goes with it. At least it looked good for 5 minutes. I hate black vehicles but they do look amazing for those 5 clean minutes.

Even got a picture of the work beater from the reflection off the passenger door.

Those brakes look great. If I wasn't already being lazy about a brake swap on my drift car I would probably be on eBay and rockauto figuring out what to buy for the 6 piston upgrade already.

As for me, I got a deal on a new-to-me radar detector upgrade and "installed" a new mount. I have bought many variations on this mount but I have never felt like any of them were a really complete product but this one is. The o-ring style rubber inlaid into the pivot balls REALLY hold tight and don't slip at all and the aluminum in general has great fit/finish so if you are in the market for one then definitely consider them.

I don't really feel like I needed the upgrade but I wanted to pass my ****** Max II on to my dad and my Max 360 can trade between drift car and Duramax. I've got to decide how to wire this in. Normally I would just run an RJ11 from the mirror up under the headliner and down the A pillar to the fuse panel but I'm betting most people just tap switched 12v and ground from behind the mirror or the overhead console so I'll have to think about it. I like the plug and play kit from Gen5DIY but it just doesn't seem worth a hundred bucks even if most of that cost is genuine connectors. Any thoughts?

on my 18 silverado the mirror power was only 10v and my valentine will not operate at 10v so I tapped into the airbag light, the light only has power with key on so win/win

I've always used BlendMounts with success and the mirror-tap connectors. For the Yukon, I stayed with BlendMount but didn't like the mirror-tap for this application as they didn't work well with the tight connectors. I did use the GenVDIY adapter and it's pricey, but in my mind, the best option for this application. It was just a much cleaner and secure install.

I threw these TSP long tubes and catted y pipe on over the weekend. Surprisingly civilized sounding with an oem muffler(which was harvested from a silverado). No good pics because my hands were dirty the whole time. As soon as I trace and address the tail pipe hitting the frame under throttle, I'll make a video.
