Install was pretty easy. Just pop the old one out and swap the heated/cool buttons with the existing heated only ones. I got mine at GMPartsNow.com , Brian is a really cool guy to deal with.

I like it much better. I only use to have my phone charger and stuff in there, so I like that I can cover it up much better.

Installed a screen protector on nav screen similar to the ones we use on our smart phones.

I never liked the nav screen on these vehicles because of the matte finish. The clarity was not crisp and it showed horrible smudges and finger prints. I noticed, on my wife's XTS, it has a gloss screen and the image is crystal clear like HD. And hers is so easy to wipe clean.

I started looking around and found this Lexerd screen protector on Amazon for $20. I Just installed it on my nav screen this morning. Looks very clear and shiny and makes the image considerably more sharp. It is supposed to protect against scratching and reduce smudges/finger prints as well.

We'll see how it goes and if glare plays into the mix. Although my wife's does not have glare. BTW - right now if you go rate them 5 stars, after you receive the item, they will send you another one for free.

Can't beat that!

Traded wife's van and my toy (2014 Rubicon) for a Yukon XL.

Two days in the driveway and added 22's and some weather mats. Installing a 13" drop down TV tomorrow. Will post pics of the TV when it's done. Trying to decide between a Denali grill vs Billet
