For those that notice and care, 05 and 06 denali do not have the square box in the upper left hand corner, nor do the have the digital gear display... Just thought I'd put that out there

Correct, 03-06 is a different cluster. However, the cluster is out of an 01 and mine is an 02. 99-02 is the same cluster

Replaced my tired old Donaldson PowerCore filter to my Volant CAI, and added a pre-filter screen for the winter months... meh... whoopie... lol i dont think i can truly be happy about anything while i'm saving up for my tvs1900... tunnel vision!

How do you like the Volant CAI? I'm looking at them and of course K&N. Is there a reason you went with the volant in particular. Whats the purpose of the pre-filter? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure his reason for the prefilter but I run one mainly because I would drive our denali out on the sand at the dunes and it helps keep sand out of the filter and in the motor. Also love it because it seems to keep the filter cleaner longer!

Finally got around to installing my underhood lighting. I might go back and add another strip downward facing in front of the firewall, though, like ezdaar's. But this is more than enough light for right now, considering I had none before. I installed the switch on the backside of the fuse box through a separate inline fuse, and routed the wire through the stock harness where I could, and sleeved it where I couldn't. Can't believe it took me this long to install this. And yes, I know my hood liner is in rough shape...
