Slapped together a hidden hitch to go behind my roll pan using some 2.5" square tubing, a 6" inch receiver tube I got off of amazon, and a couple gussets. Ended up coming together pretty nicely. I took the jet skis to the lake this evening and it felt nice to finally be able to tow again.

Did the new front grill and driver head light mounting bracket still kinda looks funny and pushed back to far from when my cousin crashed it

That's my main problem with the stockers. You shouldn't have to put a cheesy ass sleeve on them so they CAN'T bend and brake. That point of failure shouldn't have even been an issue in the first place, requiring an aftermarket Band-aid for strength.

I agree with what your saying... but its not an issue on a stock truck under normal operating conditions.

Exactly. Unless you're lifted and doing some serious four-wheeling, you'll never bend or break one. Now if you're climbing logs and rocks, maybe.

Nice build! I just commented in your thread. Where exactly are you located? I live in south Shreveport not far off I-49.
Good to see someone knows their shit on these trucks around here. Next time I do some work on my truck, maybe you can help me out. Projects like replacing the knock sensors ended up taking me 3 days, because I had to keep stopping. I just can't move around like I used to because I had a very major back surgery last summer. I'm very limited on what I can do, and I still do shit I'm not supposed to be doing, because my wife can't exactly do it. But then I really regret it the next day when my back is hurting like all hell.

Sure bud, just hit me up through PM. Also got a good buddy who can put you a heck of a tune on that truck, get you some HP out of that 6.0.

Actually, I have a 5.3, not a 6.0 and I already have a Blackbear Performance tune, Vette servo and converted to E-fans. And i have an Airraid intake tube. Otherwise its basically stock. I wish I had a 6.0!!
