Gave her a much needed cleaning! Anyone know if the last photo on the center console is broken? I'm trying decide if I need the latch or the cubby to fix it.

Ahh , I think it's the lower part of the console. Where the latch goes in-from the lid-that square hole should be a perfect square, the opening. I hope I'm making sense .Looks to be like a very small amount is chipped off causing your problem .

That's what I was thinking but I couldn't find any pictures of it depicting what it looks like new.

Hmmm, I'm wrong. Mine is exactly like yours! But mine latches drum tight. Once it's closed it doesn't even wiggle .IMAG0469.jpg IMAG0470.jpgIMAG0471.jpg

Perhaps the actual latching mechanism, the lever is you will, is not actually compressing or expanding for lack of a better description, and snapping thru and over the lip of the receiving hole. Following me. Maybe push the lever with your finger to see if it is moving. Maybe it is stuck or just every so slightly out of alignment and not allowing it to latch completely. Spitballing here for solution...

Thanks for the help. I'll try that, but I may just order a new latch to see if that works. $26 on prime.
