Hoe still not done yet. 6.0 oil pan and timing cover was cracked, was able to use the 4.8 stuff, no biggie. Good news is the 6.0 is clean inside, no sludge or any other bad stuff. Broken exhaust manifold bolts are all drilled out and ready for the headers. The 4.8 had a lot of sludge in the pan, which was a shock to me. Upper end of the motor is clean. Oh well. Shooting for Friday!
I'd have the cam bearings changed out. These 6.0s were known for eating them. I replaced mine at 169k because it lost one and spit metal all throughout itself.
