Wow...that timing cover. Reminds me of my 99 30th anniversary trans am (LS1). I used a crowbar to keep the crank pulley from spinning while trying to break the crank bolt. Didn't realize how soft that aluminum was. Wondered why I had an oil leak for several weeks. Doh!

I'm having another cam installed. Hopefully that's something they do. The 6.0 is from an 05. Are the 05's known for that also?

The cam issue is pretty common on the 6.0 from what I gather, when the shop did my intake gaskets (which fixed my idle issue) if it was still there, thankfully it wasn't, it could be a worn cam which he said is pretty common on the 6.0

Fuel tank is out.
Waiting on the fuel pump delivery. Cleaned off the rust and oil sprayed everything above the tank. As much as you try can never get it when the tanks in. No pictures cause there was nothing left but a pile of rust.
