Unfortunately I think so. It was either have license plate lights or have front footwell lights. And I'd rather have all the interior lights be the same than have the plate lights be nice but still have 2 different colors with the interior lights, y'know?
I hear ya. I still have to add those foot well lights in mine.

Used the leftover 1/0 gauge I had from my camaros battery relocation to do the big three. Used a stinger fuse box off the battery to be safe and wrapped it all in black nylon techflex because lime greens just too much for the Denali lol

So far haven't noticed too much of a difference, but apparently the people on gmfs have noticed a 1-2 mpg increase so I'll be on the watch for that.

I've heard of some led bulbs might be too big for the plate lights, don't know how true that is, but just make sure you get some that'll fit in the housings.

Using LED bulbs in the plate light housing is extremely tight! i managed to barely get them in...just be careful and don't press too hard

Not sure about mpg, but it helps to ease of pressure on the alt/batt/starter and adds like 1-2 db's if you have subs lol
I need to do this.

I have my doubts about the mpg too but I read it on gmfs, so I might as well pass on what I read. so far I haven't really noticed a difference except my check engine light is off now and it usually comes right back on after I clear it.

It's a fun project if you're into wiring and making things look oem as possible.
