What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Got my bolt extractors in the mail and tried the transmission fluid change again. All the bolt extractor did to my drain plug was turn a rounded off hex bolt into a perfectly round bolt without loosening it a bit. Even my impact wrench couldn't get it off. I was able to get the shift linkage bracket out of the way, though. I really don't want to drop a pan full of fluid, though, so I bought a replacement pan with drain plug and I'll try the whole process a third time when it gets in.

Why didn't you buy the Derale deep pan I have listed in the classifieds? Probably cheaper than what you paid for a lesser one. Damn.

I seriously looked at it, but I doubt it would have cleared my exhaust. If I was sure it would have fit, I would have bought it. Sorry man.

If anyone wants these pay the shipping from CA. I had to silicone the top seam to keep the water out and don't really like the webbed look of the chrome. Doesn't seem right putting this China made crap on our trucks! Wish there were better options.View attachment 75414

Did the full time DRL mod. Just moved the blue wire down one on the plug, took 20 minutes.

I had that mod for about a week but didn't like how the drl was twice as bright as the turn signal. Should do the full row turn mod, would look clean on yours.

Ya I might end up doing that. The amber flasher is plenty bright though.

As long as you have factory exhaust it will fit. As for headers, I'm not sure. Oh well.

I just ordered an overflow cap. Cheap enough, so hopefully that's the issue.
